Drop your kids off on your way to work at the Texas Golf Ranch and pick them up on your way home.  We also offer a car-pooling program from Kyle for your convenience.
Do you work during the holidays or need a day to yourself without the kids (or know someone who does?)  Check out the Texas Golf Ranch X-mas Camp!

The Ranch is a beautiful 46 acre property only 15 minutes east of Kyle where we teach kids how to play golf.  We also enjoy indoor activities like movies, games, arts/crafts, baking, and story-telling by the fireplace.  Weather permitting, we hike, roast hotdogs/marshmellows, play horseshoes, play hide & seek, and if we're lucky, build a snowman!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Monday December 21st and 28th, 2009.

We encourage the parents to drop off their kids at the Texas Golf Ranch.  Located at 472 F.M. 1966, Maxwell TX from 7:00 to 9:00 am.  This is so that you have an opportunity to meet us, ask any questions, or give us special information about your son or daughter. Also, see the ranch and enjoy a cup of coffee.  We understand you have to work so leave knowing that your child will have a great time, be well supervised and cared for.

If for any reason you can't drop them off, let us know so that we can make proper arrangements.

Evening pick up will be from 5:00-6:00 pm at the Texas Golf Ranch.  Make sure you separate some time the afternoon of Wednesday the 23rd and 30th for awards, recognition and prizes.  Bring your cameras.  More details will be provided in a timely manner.

FAQ

What kind of experience does the Texas Golf Ranch have running summer camps? The Texas Golf Ranch is run by Rudy Rodolfo Sada. He has been a profesional golf player and golf instructor since 1993, and has conducted and coached 100 junior golfers through the years.  In 2009 we hosted the Golf and Adventure Camp at the ranch.

What is the ratio of students to coaches? The kids will be divided into groups of 10 and each group will have a coach to be with them at all times. There will also be a program director and volunteers.  (Interested in volunteering?  Give us a call 512.216.0520)

What does my child need to bring?  A bag with Jackets, gloves, winter hat and slippers.  Lunch, snacks, and all materials will be provided.

How can the kids last so long at the camp? First, it's really fun.  But with our experience we know that they can't take more than 45 minutes in a particular activity.  So we designed modules and rotate the teams.  They will play golf for 45 at the hottest part of the day, but during bad weather or the coldest part of the day they will either be playing indoors, learning magic tricks, eating or doing indoor activities like arts and crafts, cooking lessons and for those who need it a "nap time" at the Ranch House.
